Driving Instructions

From Raleigh Durham Airport ( RDU )

If you fly into Raleigh Durham International Airport, it will take you about two hours to gather your luggage, pick up your rental car, and drive to Rocky Mount. We recommend your return flight from RDU depart after 3:00 to allow for rush hour traffic and varying weather conditions.

Rocky Mount is approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh and rental cars are available in both Raleigh and Rocky Mount. If you wish to drive from Raleigh to Rocky Mount, the directions are simple. Take I-40 E to 440 N then take US-64E to Rocky Mount. Take the exit toward Red Oak turn right onto N. Old Carriage Road. Turn left onto Sunset then left onto Freight Road.
