Dixie Offshore Transportation Company's staff of operations, engineering, and contracting personnel prides itself on a "can do/we try harder" approach to the unusual as well as routine cargo requirement which has resulted in a growing list of successful pioneering projects and satisfied clients who need assistance not only with the typical cargo movement, but with the complex cargo challenge not easily serviced by some Dixie Offshore competitors. Subsea Fiber Optic Cable
Extensive planning and vessel modifications for the loading, transportation, and discharge of sensitive subsea fiber optic cable for an international client on an EXIM project delivered by vessel to vessel transfer.
Semi-Liquid Cargo
Extensive vessel loading and stability research and planning as well as cargo specification development to allow for the transportation of a semi-liquid cargo aboard a dry bulk configured in support of a project requiring multiple barges and cargoes in the long distance transportation of dredge spoil materials.
Operations Planning
Extensive voyage and cargo operations planning for the loading, transportation, and discharge including providing temporary on board discharge gear for full liner terms carriage of PL-480 packaged food products.

Numerous conventional dry bulk spot activities.
